This Annapurna Lowland trekking trip has the added bonus of visiting the Chitwan National Park where you will be able to ride the elephants, view the one horned Rhinoceros walk amongst the wildlife and experience the local culture of this area.
The  Annapurna region hosts the Rhododendrons in bloom during March/April season.
We start by trekking up to Ghorepani and onto Poon Hill before sunrise to see the magical vista of Annapurna range with views of 30 spectacular Mountains including Annapurna South and Machhapunchhre ( known as the fishtail mountain).
Chitwan National Park
The park is 90 k south west of Kathmandu and spreads over 967 sq k. In the north /west area of  the park is an island known as Bandarjhola which is surrounded by the Narayani River. The famous Royal Bengal Tiger and the endangered one – horned Rhinoceros can be found roaming the park. You can also find leopards, sloth bear, bison, wild boar, deer, monkey, crocodiles, pythons, fresh water dolphins and over 450 species of exotic birds.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu – sightseeing
Day 2: Fly Kathmandu to Pokhara
Day 3: Transfer Pokhara to Nayapul – trek to Ulleri
Day 4: Trek Ulleri – Ghorepani
Day 5: Trek  Ghorepani – Poon Hill – Tadapani
Day 6:Trek Tadapani – Chomrong
Day 7: Trek   Chomrong – Jhinu – Ghandruk
Day 8: Trek to Ghandruk –  Landruk
Day 9: Trek Landruk – Pothana
Day 10: Trek  Pothana – Kande – transfer to Pokhara
Day11: Pokhara – rest day
Day 12  Bus transfer to Chitwan National Park (Safari)
Day 13: Chitwan National Park (on Safari)
Day 14: Chitwan National Park  – Flight transfer to Kathmandu
Day 15: Kathmandu
