I really appreciated all the effort Ann put into providing a trip tailored for us. She provided late changes to the itinerary which enabled us to visit the places we were keen to go to.
Our guide Lila and porters were friendly, knowledgeable, caring and ensured we were well taken care of. They were also flexible with the itinerary which was greatly appreciated.
We had a fantastic trip up the Mustang and I would recommend this trip and Trekking Adventures.

Annapurna – Jomsom trek + Poon Hill + Chitwan Safari: Jan / Feb 2015

Trekking Adventures provided a personalized and special trip for myself and my daughter through 3 weeks of trekking in parts of Nepal & Tibet.
Our time and experiences have become entrenched in our history of what makes us grow as people. We were privileged to meet some wonderful people and have a multitude of experiences that we continue to reflect back on daily.
I cannot thank you everyone involved in this trip, that this was a start of another lifetime of exploring for myself and my daughter.

Annapurna Circuit + Upper Mustang Valley trek: Sept / Oct 2014

Fantastic trek, Absolutely loved it. This was the 4th time I had used ‘Trekking Adventures’ due to the highly professional standard that the Director of the company is so insistent about. Nothing was left to chance & every detail was thorough. The companies policy of one porter /one pack is so respectful of the Nepalese staff she employs. I have no hesitation in recommending Trekking Adventures as the trekking company to do their treks with.
Kathy – Palmerston North, New Zealand

Annapurna Circuit + Upper Mustang Valley trek: Sept / Oct 2014

Trekking Adventures offer ‘small group and personal’ trekking trips that allow for personal growth and a real sense of adventure within a safe caring environment. Ann crosses the ‘t’s’ and dots the ‘i’s’ – no detail is too small or considered unimportant.
Bron – Matamata, New Zealand

Awesome trip – made better when fitness level matches the trip. i.e follow Ann’s advice to be biking at least 80k’s days in a row if keen to be able to ride the whole time. Ann is a great leader – calm, reassuring, catered well for diversity of group. Tibetan crew were fantastic & ensured a safe journey where we were well looked after. Highly recommend the trip for anyone keen to bike & experience Tibet. Thanks heaps Ann – it is clear how much it means to you to be able to offer us this experience and how you care deeply about your clients and all the Tibetan & Nepali people, and how important it is that people are not taken advantage of. I have hugely appreciated your leadership and wisdom.

The trip was well organised, well paced (we appreciated & benefited from the rest days), fantastic leader, guides and Tibetan crew. Support vehicles were excellent for the style of trip. Culture, people and landscapes were stunning …….Thank you for the support following Pete’s accident. This was most appreciated and helpful. Especially the support to get to the Nepali border. Lhasa to Kathmandu Cycle trip – August 2011

You”ll prob never really know the joy that u will have brought to many people who have come treking with you and getting the opportunity to experience Nepal that would not have done so without your company that you have set up. I think without having u through Tibet as a leader, that trip could have been rather different given the usual clashes of personality’s. You really Made the holiday extra special for all of us just being who u are also. Your qualities also are quite rare. Keep it up.
A trip of a life time (Almost flat)

“We would both like to thank you for your wonderful guiding expertise. We both feel that your very special personality, your ease of dealing with difficult people and difficult situations, great organisational skills and your general good humour made the whole experience worth getting as close as practicable to “knocking the bugger off”. Nothing was ever too much trouble for you and you were completely selfless in ensuring that everyone in the group had the best possible experience.”
Rob and Ellie – Auckland, New Zealand.

The EBC trek was an experience that I never dreamt of having and feel very fortunate indeed to have been part of the adventure at my tender age.  The final stages of the trek pushed me to the limits of my physical capabilities – and I have a great sense of achievement.”

Everest Base Camp Trek – Oct 2009

“Firstly a huge thank you, with your guidance and down-to-earth qualities my experience in Nepal could not have been more unforgettable. When we first arrived in Kathmandu I felt completely out of my comfort zone which changed totally when we flew to Lukla and started our trek. I never imagined that I would love the trekking as much as I did however I am under no illusion to how different this would have been without you, Nawang, our shepa’s and our porters. Secondly Ann the trip has left me a changed person and for that I say thank you. Life returned back to normal amazingly quickly when we got back however 4 months later I know I will return to Nepal with my next goal when returning to climb Island Peak.

Lastly Ann I wish you every success with Trekking4Women and if ever you need a glowing reference I would feel privileged to be able to do so. Forever appreciative to you.”

Everest Base Camp Trek – April 2009

Ann said to us on day one of the first morning in Kathmandu, that the experience ahead of us would change us in some way …that certainly happened for me and to date when I reflect on the wonderful experience I had, I feel a better person because of it…To sum up in a few words the trek with Ann to Everest was – humbling, gobsmacking scenery, wonderful Nepalese people, great food, great trekking tracks, amazing colours in the ice and snow. The trek took me out of my comfort zone sometimes and challenged me in positive ways. I was so humbled by the Nepalese people in their attitude and compassion they showed towards us, they live such humble lives but are happy and sincere people…I would definitely go again, its a trip that one could do many times and always gain new insights and experiences…. thanks Ann for a awesome experience!”
